Since the post-colonial times, Namilyango College under the different administrations has been implementing a number of infrastructure projects in a bid to cope with the evolving needs, increasing enrolment and facelifting the College. Examples of such projects include construction of dormitories, classrooms, libraries, sanitation facilities among others. The sites for the projects were mostly randomly selected without making reference to any consolidated site master plan.

Upon this background, Namilyango College contracted NACOBA Consultants to undertake a detailed topographical survey and develop a physical master plan for the College. The master plan would not only guarantee optimal usage of space but also ensure that developments within the College are positioned appropriately. The assignment commenced in September 2023 and was completed in November 2024.
