In May 2024, NACOBA Consultants Ltd was contracted by Namilyango College to assess its main production well with an objective of increasing water supply to the school. The tasks undertaken included uninstalling the existing pump and establishing its specifications, establishing the borehole details, undertaking a 72-hour test pumping, undertaking a topographic survey from the well to the reservoir, assessing the control panel, redesigning the pump and transmission pipeline, installing the new pump, transmission pipeline and electrical installations.

The assessment led to the installation of a new pump, modification of its control panel and installation of a new HDPE transmission pipeline. The interventions led to the increase of water supply from about 32,000 liters per day to 128,000 liters per day, significantly reducing water shortages in the school.
