The AVSI Foundation, a non-for-profit organization through the SAY program entered into a collaboration with Namilyango College to skill the students in agripreneurship value chain programs including baking. Accordingly, NACOBA Consultants Limited was contracted in July 2023 to design and remodel an existing building into a bakery. Architectural drawings were developed including cost estimates for the required construction materials. The second phase involved the procurement of materials and supervision of masons and artisans to undertake the construction work. The bakery was commissioned in October 2023 and is now fully operational.
